INSIDE THE LOSS OF A TEARDROP DIAMOND MOVIE PREMIERE
The Plus reveled in our invitation to catch the New York City premiere of
Tennessee Williams' The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, hosted by Gotham Magazine, on Thursday night.
We made our way to City Cinemas on the East Side, where the film's star, Bryce Dallas Howard, was making her way down the red carpet in a stunning Donna Karan and Jean Paul Gaulthier combo.

The upcoming Eclipse star then revealed to The Plus one holiday tradition she's learned from her famous father, director extraordinaire Ron Howard, that she's passing down to her own family.
"Every year, in order to receive a gift, you have to give a gift. It's something that you owned previously, and you give it away to a child in need or a charity," Bryce shared.
"I've started to do it with my son, and he's really excited about it," Bryce said of her baby boy Theodore, 2. "He's already put aside a little pile of side of toys that he's going to chose from to give away."
Theodore is already showing signs of the family's movie-making genius, according to Bryce.

"He's opinionated about films," she spilled. "He saw a film last night and I asked him 'Did you like it?' And he said, 'No I didn't.' I asked why and he said that it was too funny."
Inside the theater, The Plus caught glimpses of movie's cast, including Ellen Burstyn, Jessica Collins and Marin Ireland, along with Roseanne alum Laurie Metcalf and surprise guest of the night, Sienna Miller.
It was then off to the after-party at The Oak Room restaurant inside The Plaza Hotel for drinks and mushroom truffles.
Proud papa Ron was working the room, as well as screen icon Celeste Holm -- who won an Oscar for her performance in Gentlemen's Agreement -- as she chatted it up with fashion designer and Project Runway alum Malan Breton. "We starred in a movie together," he told The Plus.
It's the things you learn after a screening that really count!
