Gotham Magazine Celebrates the Soho Stroll

Another very noteworthy recent event was the Gotham Magazine celebration held on June 13th that marked as the closing party for the Soho Stroll. As you may or may not know the Soho Stroll is an annual event where 103 stores, restaurants and boutiques in SoHo offered discounts, promotions and refreshments to shoppers who supported the SoHo Partnership by purchasing the signature SoHo Stroll bracelet. Every penny from the bracelet sales went to benefit the work we do helping NYC’s recovering homeless men and women reclaim their lives. The event specifically raised funds for Ace4Homeless, and marked as the first event held at the trendy yoga studio Yoga Works.

Guests included Gotham Magazine publisher Brianna Birtles, and attended by My Boys actress and star of the soon to be released film,“The Goods”, Jordana Spiro. It was a nice Saturday evening event that included a nice mix of New York;s movers and shakers. It was more low key than Gotham Magazine events I have been to in the past, however I have no complaints. Most people I met at the party were involved with the Soho stroll, however I did meet one interesting guest who claimed she was being sued by Perez Hilton over her similar site PerezRevenge. After some more quick mingling it was off to the 901 launch event.
