Tina can't wait to get back to work

30 Rock star Tina Fey is glad that the writers' strike in the US is over - as she's keen to get back to work.

Tina, also the creator and writer of the award-winning show, joined the front of the picket line in New York City last November.

She told reporters at the Gotham gala in New York: "I'm very glad that the strike has come to an end. I feel it has been difficult economically for people in Los Angeles and New York. Hopefully, we have got a good deal with some of these things that are being settled, so I'm happy."

And Tina, who has been spending lots of time with her two-year-old daughter Alice, admitted she is looking forward to getting back to the grindstone.
"We'll be able to start episodes tomorrow, hopefully!" she said, smiling.
"It was cold weather out (during the strike), so we were stuck in and around the house and the neighbourhood a lot. I played with a dollhouse with my daughter for about 11 of the 12 weeks solid."
