Gotham Magazine hosts The Loss of A Teardrop Diamond Premiere: Ellen Burstyn
The New York premiere of Tennessee Williams's "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond," was Thursday evening. Academy Award Winner Ellen Burstyn walked the red carpet, in addition to her co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Collin, Marin Ireland, Zoe Perry and many other special guests. She plays a disabled women named Miss Addie in the film, and she appears in two very powerful scenes with Bryce Dallas Howard's character Fisher Willow. This is what Mrs. Burstyn had to say about working with first time director Jodie Markell and about her "exotic" character. Gotham Magazine hosted the premiere and after-party, which was at The Oak Room!
